The Treaty of Versailles - Political

Preceding the World War 1, to set the peace terms for the defeated Central Powers, the Treaty of Versailles was put in place to help reconstruct the world. The terms of the treaty included reshaping of borders and countries, as well as financial penalties. During the 6 months while the treaty was being conducted, Paris became the political centre of the world.
